Running of School
In the aim of providing quality and value based education to the poor children the organisation is running an innovative school at Kakatpur from the year 2002. In this school more than 250 children are enrolled who are getting quality and disciplinary education. Trained teachers are engaged to maintain the quality of education. Joyful method of teaching and learning are employed to attract the children to the school. Now in this school, childrens are reading upto 5th standard. We also adopt different techniques to make the children as future of our country. We also gives imphasis on building their characters and keeping their good health by Yoga classes.
Public Library
On Date 03.07.2000 it was burn in a small room with only 50 books. After that we wrote Publishers, Writers and Wellwishers through postcard. Our members also collected books and magazines from nearer villages. Presently it is running in a building at near Mangala Temple in the name of PRACHI PATHAGARA, which is Providing a valuable service to the local people ,especially the youth and the children. At present the Prachi Pathagar has more than 6,900 volumes and 300 types of journals in various languages which caters to the need of more than 50,000 local people .The library also doubles up as an information centre to disseminate various information on employment, new schemes and programmes launched by he government from time to time Seminars and workshops are organised from time to time by the library to encourage the people to raise their voice.This year we got 714 books under Gandhi Pathagar Scheme from Raja Ram Mohan Roy Library Foundaiton for the year 2007 which values near about Rs.45,000/- (Rupees fourty five thousand only)
Agadhu Rath Sikshya Samman
From the year 2006, We are taking a step to creating consciousness among locality as well as in teachers regarding importance of primary education. To encourage teachers those are dedicated punctual we awarded them in the name of our areas renouned retired teachers Sri Agadhu Rath . We also encouraged 5 poor talent students from class 1st to class 7th. Those are reading excellently but they are coming from poor family in such condition they are keeping their rhythm in education.They are awarded by our organisation.
Book Exhibition
Due to the unprecedented growth in the electronics media there is a receding interest among the people ,especially youths to read books. PYSO has been organised Kakatapur Pustak Mela at Govt.High School regularly. Year to year this book-fair becomes more attracted and able to creating interest towards purching and reading of books in our locality. During this exhibition renouned book publishers, book-sellers from all over state participated displaying their latest publications during Mela Sahitya Ustav, Poets Seminar, Cultural Programmes and competitions also organised. Day to day people of locality showing interest towards this fair. Thousands of people visited the stall and took keen interest in various books. The schools and colleges of our locality are helping to organise this fair.

About PYSO

Prachi Youth Social Organisation (PYSO) came into being by a group of educated young people in the 1991-92 who wanted to do some social good in their own locality. Thus in the initial years they undertook some development work albeit unsystematically.
